Are you feeling burnt out, exhausted and like you’ve lost your mojo?

You know something needs to change, but you aren’t sure what.

You’re waiting for something to change, but nothing is.

You want to walk away, but aren’t sure which direction you’re headed in.

You’re not alone. Burnout is more prevalent in the medical and healthcare sector than any other industry in the US.

I work with medical and health professionals like you, individually or as a team, to recover from bunrout and break free of the burnout cycle.

Emily Riemer Walking

You’re in the right place. Just by being here, right now, you’ve already taken the first step in making a positive change.

I can’t promise you a quick fix, and I don’t have a magical antidote to burnout. Burnout recovery (and prevention) takes sustainable mindset and lifestyle changes. That might sound daunting, but I’ll be with you every step of the way. To listen to you, commiserate with you and celebrate with you.

Authenticity and compassion underpins the way I work. We won’t bypass negative emotions. You’re allowed to be pissed at the system. You’re entitled to be angry for yourself and others. That’s how real change happens.

We’ll work with the reality of your life, starting with just one thing you can change, and celebrating every win along the way. I’ll ask the right questions to support you to decide what’s right for you.

“As a mother, wife, homeowner, business owner, and woman with ALL THE HATS, life gets busy and Emily was always, always, always mindful of that.

I honestly found myself being my biggest hurdle, while Emily supported me and reminded me that we are all human, doing our best with the tools we have.

1:1 coaching for health & medical professionals

I take a holistic approach to burnout prevention and recovery that includes sleep, exercise, nutrition, community, connection, mental health and wellness.

As soon as we start working together, you’ll start to see connections between areas of your life and putting the pieces together that are needed for your unique recovery journey. For example, if you’re feeling stressed and anxious every day, but you’re only sleeping four hours a night and not eating regular meals, then we probably need to start there!

We’ll pick one area of your life to start with and set small, manageable goals, like drinking a glass of water every morning. Then, we’ll build on these tiny actions, one by one, to create sustainable lifestyle changes over time.

When we set recovery goals, we’ll look at how you WANT to feel, which can be challenging when you’re so used to feeling crappy!

Mindset is the hardest part. But when we start with action, we can soon work on building the confidence and belief that you can change things around.

Together, let’s create a brave, empowered space for you to take good care of yourself and start dreaming big again.
